On March 26, President Trump signed an executive order (“Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections”) that threatens Americans’ freedom to vote and tramples states’ authority to run elections. Per the League of Women Voters US, this order is a shameful attack on American voters — particularly women voters — and their right to participate in our democracy.
The League will pursue all avenues in fighting against this dangerous order. We will use every tool at our disposal to defend voters from unjust restrictions on their freedom to vote.
