On Friday, April 5, Pat Lamanna and Jackie Wildau handed out LWV information on voting to 41 new citizens at a — literally — earthshaking ceremony. Lollipops pacified some of the younger participants, and the adults were enthusiastic about the thought of voting in the U.S. for the first time.
LWV of the Mid-Hudson Region serves the people and communities of Dutchess, Orange and Ulster counties.
