About Us

The Mid-Hudson Region of the League of Women Voters serves Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster counties. Consistent with the national and state League’s mission, our activities are focused on helping to ensure and informed and enabled electorate in our three counties. In support of that mission,our League holds regular in person and zoom meetings that focus on civic issues of both national and local interest. We also actively participate in voter registration drives at local schools, libraries, jails, and at naturalization ceremonies. With a known track record of fairness and integrity, our members are routinely asked to moderate candidate forums in the weeks leading up to elections.
